This was our second visit to this park, both times in November. No amenities to speak of. Big draw is the ocean. Oceanfront sites are exactly that - oceanfront! Hookups are all side by side which means your door will face your neighbor's door. W-Fi signal is very weak and drops out frequently. We were there over Thanksgiving and the park was almost full, but all the campers seemed nice and friendly. We will stay again, because you can't beat the ocean view.
This is an older park with older restroom facilities that are not as well maintained as some other older parks. The entrance to the park is easy to miss. Park is located right next to I-75. We were there the Thursday before Memorial Day and the park was pretty full. Wi-Fi and cable are an extra charge. Not a lot of light. Seemed to have a number of long term residents. We would not stay again.
Nice clean park. Easy access. Hosts were very friendly. Bathroom and showers were exceptionaly clean! Level gravel sites, trees for shade. We would definitely stay again.
We stayed 5 nights in mid May and had 1 free night. The KOA website, where we made the reservation, does not tell you there is a $2 per night fee for each pet. We travel with 3 dogs, so an extra $6 per night. The restrooms and showers are clean and well maintained. Showers are in individual rooms for good privacy, but a little on the small side. We did not try the pancake breakfast as the eating area is outdoors and it was pretty cold and windy. Snowed one day. Cable TV reception was poor on some channels and good on others. If we were in the area again we would probably try one of the other many, many campgrounds there.
